Born and raised right across the river, Jessie Shawnta (Pronounced Shown-tay) Green graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2018 with a BFA in Illustration. Since then Jessie has transcended her Illustration background. Appearing in the recent West 18th street fashion show (2021) as a designer and having her own solo show debut as a fine artist.

Jessie is fiercely devoted to her small terrier mix Gidget, and loves to collect plants. Themes of love, colors and pure emotion are to be found in her works.
